About Zenmuma

Zenmuma Cat Loveridge uses our studio to teach her pregnancy yoga and baby and postnatal yoga.

Cat helps expectant mums to understand their minds and bodies and help them have a better. More relaxed birth experience. Cat is keen to build a community of mums. To support them to settle into life as a new mum with ideas to help them and their babies physically as well as emotionally. The classes are a way of spending time having fun and bonding with baby whilst learning songs, rhymes. Poses and breathing techniques.

The classes give much needed self care time for new mums whilst also entertaining new gorgeous babies.

Hey, I'm Cat!

I am Mum to two beautiful children. I am a trained primary school teacher and special educational needs coordinator. When I fell pregnant with my first child a friend of mine introduced me to hypnobirthing. Unfortunately, I did not attend the hypnobirthing classes at this point. I wish I had!

I did learn some wonderful skills through doing my own research and it really helped me stay calmer but I had a tricky birth.

In my second pregnancy I went to hypnobirthing classes and this was life changing! I learnt all about how our bodies work during pregnancy and the birth. I learnt breathing techniques and movements which helped me to have a better, much more calm and positive birth experience. During both of my pregnancies I went to local pregnancy yoga classes. This gave me time out of my hectic life to practise breathing techniques and movements every week.

what to expect

A community of mums…

When my son was born we joined baby yoga classes. Baby groups were a fantastic place to meet other like-minded mums. In fact, the mums I met are still my best friends now!

In my experience as a teacher and special needs coordinator I have learnt a lot about children’s social, emotional and mental health. Children, as with adults, need to learn ways to manage their emotions. Yoga can really support them with this. I decided to train as a hypnobirthing instructor, pregnancy yoga, baby and postnatal yoga with massage and kids yoga teacher for lots of different reasons.

I want to help expectant mums to understand their minds and bodies and help them to have a better, more relaxed birth experience. I also want to build a community of mums, to support them to settle into life as a new mum with ideas to help them and their babies physically as well as emotionally. It is a way of spending time having fun and bonding with baby while learning songs, rhymes, poses and breathing techniques. It is giving you much needed self-care time while also entertaining your gorgeous babies.

class information

These sessions are not just for people who practised yoga before starting a family. I joined a team of Zenmuma’s alongside Jackie Heffer-Cooke to help all families benefit.

I currently run a pregnancy yoga class on Tuesday evenings 7-8pm 6 sessions for £65 and Baby and postnatal yoga with massage classes on Thursdays 9:30-10:30am 6 sessions for £45.
