what to expect

Physiotherapy

Our team are all experienced clinicians, members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council. We are committed to continuous professional development and utilise evidence-based physiotherapy treatment approaches in our practice to ensure we deliver care of the highest possible standards, allowing you to relax in the knowledge that you are in expert hands. We pride ourselves on our holistic, hands on approach in the treatment we provide to our patients.

Our patient journey begins with a warm welcome to our clinic where we make a full, detailed assessment of your condition and set out a comprehensive, individual treatment plan. We design bespoke exercise and gym rehabilitation programmes that guide and support our patients throughout their full journey of recovery. Our patients have access to our private gym in Aylsham or the large, fully equipped gym in Rossis Leisure Centre in North Walsham, where your Physiotherapist will guide you through your tailored rehabilitation program, giving you the confidence and strength to return to your pre-injury condition. We know through experience and results that providing a combination of hands-on treatment and exercises, together with continued support and encouragement, gets our patients better, sooner. We also have a specialist Neuro Physiotherapist who treats patients with neurological problems (conditions affecting the brain and spinal cord).

Acupuncture

Read Information

Some of our Physiotherapists are qualified to use acupuncture as part of the treatment with their patients. We use tiny, disposable (single use) acupuncture needles to help relieve pain and promote healing and better sleep. We also offer ‘Electroacupuncture where the fine needles are connected to electrodes that deliver low-frequency electrical impulses which provides added stimulation, making it particularly beneficial for chronic pain management and neurological conditions.

We combine acupuncture techniques with other ‘hands-on’ treatments, advice and exercises as part of a full physiotherapy programme designed to help you recover as quickly as possible. There is scientific evidence showing that acupuncture can be helpful for a number of health conditions including chronic back and neck pain as well as joint pain such as osteoarthritis and headaches.
