WHAT IS

Clinical PIlates?

Clinical Pilates is a conditioning exercise programme that targets the deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine to improve overall central core stability and posture. The mind and body are brought together to achieve these aims through the following concentration, breathing, isolation, routine, precision, control and flowing movement.
Clinical Pilates is great for injury prevention or aiding in your journey to recovery, the idea is to heighten your awareness of your own body – promoting strength and flexibility while avoiding excess strain on joints.

We will get to know more about your medical history and any existing conditions by carrying out a one-to-one assessment prior to starting your class. This helps us to shape your routine and progression to your unique circumstances, so you get the most out of the class.

Our

Classes

All our classes take place at our new studio which are based in our converted warehouse on the industrial estate in Aylsham. We are super proud of our new studio combining the spacious area of a warehouse with a modern twist bespoke studio conversion ideal for our specialist clinical Pilates programme. At North Norfolk Physio we offer Clinical Pilates classes to help build core strength, aid posture and improve general fitness and well-being. Our Clinical Pilates Classes have a maximum of 10 people and each class lasts one hour. All our classes are taught by Chartered Physiotherapists who are APPI trained, so you can be assured of an enhanced level of knowledge and experience. Equipment is provided, no experience is required to join the class however we would prefer to meet with you prior to your first session to discuss individual goals.

  • Wednesday 10am and 11.30am
  • Thursday 18:00 
  • Friday 9am

CHAIR PILATES:

  • Monday 14.15

THERAPEUTIC YOGA :

  • Friday 10:30am

1-1 and small group pilates classes available.
All equipment is provided. All classes are bookable and the Maximum number of participants is 10.
